We began our day in WIN writing groups. My digital storytelling group finished their rough drafts and started chunking out the text into parts for their digital story. I asked students to brainstorm images that would work with the text for each page.
In reading today, I passed back reading logs, students updated their blue sheet (books completed list), and I did some book talks on historical fiction books. Students then used the time to Read to Self, Respond to Reading or confer with me about the book they are reading.
In science today, I did the same lesson as yesterday with 6S. Students need to pick a topic for their science fair project soon! The Science Fair is December 2.
