I collected reading logs and handed out new ones that are due on Tuesday, May 25. Don't forget that Genre Bingo is due by 6/16! Also, there is a quiz on nonfiction conventions on Thursday after the talent show.
In 6F reading, I reviewed all of the nonfiction conventions and where they showed up in each piece of informational print that we read. This is a review for the test. Students were also given time to silent read.
In writing today, we went over the requirements for the World's Fair essays. We began writing the rough drafts in class.
I did the same lesson in science with 6F that I did with 6S. There is a test on genetics Friday.
